The Lady Bulldogs went to a press and cut Wagners’ edge to 15 with 5:30 left in the game, but the run was short-lived. To be honest, Wagner has been comfortably in control of this game since about three-quarters of the way into the first period. You can see why the Lady T-birds are ranked eighth in the state. As time ran down, one of the Wagner fans yelled across the McAllen fans…”you were just overmatched.” That pretty much sums it up as Wagner wins 65-43. It’s a poor reflection as a small group of McAllen fans are yelling at the Wagner fans and accusing the referees of cheating…Why does nobody ever say, thanks to the officials we won?…..
